Dr. Kevin Lo

Welcome to my website! I am an Assistant Professor of Geography at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) and Founding Editor of Journal of Asian Energy Studies (JAES). As an energy geographer, my research focuses on understanding the transition to sustainable energy systems from spatial, regional, and governance perspectives. I am also interested in various topics in urban and rural studies, such as resettlement, urbanization, and poverty alleviation. I have published in many leading journals, including Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Energy Policy,  Energy for Sustainable Development, Energies, Environmental Science & Policy, Cities, Habitat International, and Journal of Rural Studies.
